Frustrated By Pets Odors and Stains?

By Chris • May 23rd, 2009

Recently we have had an increase in calls concerning pets stains and particularly pet odors left behind from urine.  With the increase in humidity these odors become more apparent because the urine salts absorbed in carpet and padding are “re-activated” with moisture causing a strong urine smell.  If treated thoroughly and effectively these stains and odors can be eliminated.  We have the knowledge and tools necessary to eliminate urine saturation in carpet and padding.  Many carpet cleaning companies “cover” the odors with deodorizers after a routine cleaning, however this type of treatment will only temporarily mask the urine odor and the smell will return within a short time.  To properly treat urine stains and odors the carpet and padding must be properly treated by saturating the area(s) with specialized cleaning agents.  These cleaning agents must remain in the carpet and pad for approximately 30 minutes before they are extracted with a high performance substrate extraction device.  The area is then treated with an enzyme deodorizing spray.  These natural enzymes effectively kill any remaining bacteria and eliminate the smell in most areas.  For specifics please call us for more information.
